About Voice Training
“…Alex Taylor is an unusually great teacher.”
— David B. from Germany
In the digital age, there is SO MUCH information available online about singing and making music. It can be difficult to distinguish the good from the bad from the useful from the downright harmful. Sure, you can teach yourself A LOT, but at a certain point it’s time to get an outside eye and ear to help you figure out how to get your singing to what you dream it will be.
Maybe you’re a curious adult who used to sing as a kid or always wanted to dedicate more time to music before life took you down another path. You’ve followed and watched every singer and vocal coach on Tik Tok and YouTube, tried their exercises, and STILL don’t feel comfortable with your voice. It feels strained, or you don’t like the sound, or you want to build the confidence to FINALLY do a song at the office karaoke night.
Or maybe you’re a new, emerging artist in high school or college with serious ambitions to make music more than a hobby. Maybe you play an instrument or make Tik Tok covers. You’ve taken voice lessons before where you felt you had to be “correct” rather than train to indulge your artistic impulses. What you really need is a knowledgeable and empathetic artist-centered trainer to help take your vocals to the level of your dreams.
“…Alex knows what he is doing and is a pleasure to work with.”
— Brad F from Salt Lake City

Whether three notes or three octaves, we are dedicated to giving you the tools you need to become the singer you’ve always wanted to be.
Look how much fun you could be having!
“If you’re on the fence about voice lessons, sign up for one with Alex.
You won’t regret it.”
— Samuel W from San Francisco, CA
Our training is rooted in vocal function – think of it like having a personal trainer. There are certain things voices can and must do to operate at their best, no matter the type of music you’re singing. We aim to build the foundation of these fundamentals to allow you to be empowered and liberated while singing.
These fundamentals are simple:
1) A range of at least two octaves
2) Ability to sing any note in your range at any volume
3) Ability to sing any note in your range at any volume and any vowel sound.
Get vocally fit like this Alex Taylor Voice fan!
With this baseline, you be better equipped to handle things like style, riffs, runs, screams, groans etc. These elements come from Somatic Voicework™ (the LoVetri Method), a method of vocal coaching that’s been used with GRAMMY winning artists, Broadway singers, and movie stars.
